Is the official trailer of Pee Mak PH good? Let’s talk about it.
Pee Nang, played by Bea Binene, is the wife of Mak, played by Wilbert Ross. Mak is a soldier who leaves home to fight in a war. At the time, Pee Nang is pregnant with their child. When Mak returns, he finally meets their son, Junjun. But there is one big question: Is Pee Nang, and baby Junjun, really who Mak came home to? Together with his friends, Mak slowly discovers the truth.
Yes, I Liked It!
I really enjoyed the trailer of Pee Mak PH. Right from the beginning, Pee Nang, played by Bea Binene, caught my attention. You can immediately feel her pain and longing for her husband.
Actually, I cried while watching the trailer. I don’t know if it was because I had already seen the original and knew what was coming. Or is it because I saw several key scenes that really stayed with me from the original film?
One of them was the scene at the fair, when Pee Nang asks Mak if he can live without her. That scene made me cry in the original. And it made me tear up again in this trailer.
When I watched the original, I remember laughing so much. But before I knew it, I was already crying. Based on this trailer, I have a feeling the same thing might happen to me when I watch Pee Mak PH. 😂
The Comedy Looks Promising
I also noticed the chemistry among Mak’s friends. They look like they will bring a lot of the comedy to the film. They are already funny in the trailer alone.
And I knew it! Candy Pangilinan has another cameo in Pee Mak PH. She really is a familiar face in Viva Films movies.
I was also surprised to see Janno Gibbs as the healer in the film. So yes, it looks like they really intend to make us laugh.
My Overall Impression
Overall, the trailer gives me good vibes. It looks like we are going to laugh, get a little scared, and eventually have our hearts pulled in.
And based on what I saw in the trailer, I have a feeling I might cry again. 😂
