The most frustrating thing about Love U Lots Episode 1 is… nothing.
I actually waited for the moment when the series would disappoint me. But from start to finish, I genuinely enjoyed watching it.

Love U Lots, starring Bea Binene and Wilbert Ross, is finally out. They play Ysabelle and Estong, respectively.
Story-wise, Love U Lots was engaging from beginning to end. The pacing was good, I never felt bored, and the series maintained its upbeat energy throughout the episode.
The premise is also easy to follow. Ysa, who has Dissociative Identity Disorder, crosses paths with Estong, who is dealing with heartbreak. And after Episode 1, I immediately wanted to know what happens between them next.
Wilbert and Bea also have natural chemistry. Their interactions feel easy and believable, which makes you want to see more of their characters together.
When it comes to acting, both Wilbert and Bea were convincing. But I have to give a special shoutout to Bea because she has the more challenging assignment here. She has to portray multiple personalities, and I was impressed by how effortlessly she shifted from one personality to another.
So far, Tristan is my favorite.
I honestly did not expect that scene where Tristan suddenly asked Estong for a hug. It was so random, but somehow, it worked. It was funny, unexpected, and surprisingly touching at the same time.
Then there’s Bogart.
Wow. You can really feel how much anger this character has toward the world, and Bea made that anger believable. Even her fight scene as Bogart was convincing and definitely one of the highlights of Episode 1.
After watching the episode, I was simply left feeling happy.
Yes, other series have already explored DID as part of their story, but I still found Love U Lots’ approach refreshing. The cinematography also adds to its appeal, especially the color grading. Everything looks vibrant, and the series has a visual identity of its own.
So my final verdict?
Love U Lots is worth watching.
If Episode 1 is an indication of the quality we can expect from the rest of the series, I’m definitely excited to see what happens in the next episodes.
