The cast of Pee Mak PH recently gathered for a media conference, where they shared experiences from filming the Filipino adaptation of the hit Thai horror-comedy.
Among those who attended were Bea Binene, Wilbert Ross, Jairus Aquino, Gian Bernardino, and TJ Valderrama, who gave the media a glimpse of what audiences can expect from the upcoming film.
Bea and Wilbert also drew attention as their onscreen partnership, WilBea, continues to gain interest. The two previously worked together in Golden Scenery of Tomorrow and are now part of a story that combines horror, comedy, and romance.
For Gian Bernardino, Pee Mak PH marks his first full-length acting project. The Cup of Joe vocalist takes on the role of Bunak, a character who has a third eye and is easily frightened. His role also required prosthetics and other physical preparations that added to the challenges of filming.
Directed by Victor Villanueva, Pee Mak PH puts a Filipino spin on the popular Thai story while bringing together a cast with different backgrounds and experiences.
During the mediacon, the actors shared some of the memorable and challenging moments they experienced on set, giving fans a better idea of what happened behind the scenes.
With its mix of horror, comedy, romance, and Filipino humor, Pee Mak PH is set to bring a familiar story to local audiences with its own Pinoy flavor.
